REVIEW
Oct-Nov 2016 was the opening of the exhibition “Universo Borgeano” in the Casa Central of the Banco Ciudad, Buenos Aires-Argentina. Dic-January-2016-2017 the same exhibition took in the “Cervantes Institute” New York-U.S.A.
The Spanish President Mr. Mariano Rajoy opened the exhibition honoring it with his presence and his speech concerning the importance of the presence of works of the 5 Argentinian artists in New York.
Universo Borgeano was declared of Cultural Interest by the “Ministerio de Cultura of the Repùblica Argentina (Cultural State Department), of the Chancellor´s office and The International Jorge Luis Borges Foundation. Also with the support of The Banco Ciudad, The Foundation of Banco Ciudad, The Cervantes Institute- New York, and counted with the Patronage of Art of the City of Buenos Aires.
The Artist Gabriela Aberastury, Gabriel Barna, Norma Bessouet, Mariano Cornejo and Sara Facio showed Oil paintings, collage, objects, an installation and photos. Each Artist was present in the exhibition with exclusive techniques.
